NB:
Children under the age of 11 are not allowed on the upper Bodleian Library tours.
If under 11, they can still visit public parts like exhibitions, the ground floor of the Weston Library, but not enter the Old Library or the Radcliffe Camera
How to organise your visit inside the Bodleian Library
There are a number of different tours available inside the Bodleian Library. They vary in duration, some are limited to certain times of the year, for example tours including the Radcliffe Camera. All tours inside the library are sold by the Bodleian Library and led by guides engaged directly by the library.
Pictured here is Jess, a French speaking guide and one of the Bodleian guides. Her excellent tour of the Duke Humfrey Library is in English for groups however can be given in French by special arrangement for group bookings.
A limited number of tickets, (25%) are released one month before the tour date, while the majority (75%) are released on the day of the tour.
Weekday tickets go on sale at 9am and on can be purchased online with the link below, or at the Weston Library.
However 75% of tickets for weekend tours are ONLY sold in person at the Weston Library going on sale at 10:00 on Saturday and 11:00 on Sunday
